AEOCited by the models

Search didn't die. It moved. Your customers now ask a machine before they ask a neighbor — and the machine can only repeat what it can find, understand, and trust.

Most local sites were built for a world of ten blue links. That world is shrinking. The businesses that get named in the answer will take the calls; the rest will keep paying for clicks that never come.

What we do

Three services.
One outcome.

Every engagement points at the same thing: when a real person in your service area needs what you sell, your business is the one that surfaces.

01 — Foundation

Web Design

A site that loads instantly, reads clearly, and turns a visit into a phone call.

  • Hand-built in clean code — no page-builder bloat
  • Sub-second loads on mobile data
  • Written for people first, parsed by machines second
  • A clear next step on every single page
  • You own the files, the domain, and the hosting
Web design
02 — Proximity

Google Business Profile

The map pack is your storefront. Three slots, and most of the calls.

  • Category, service and attribute alignment
  • Review generation systems that staff actually use
  • Geo-grid rank tracking across your service radius
  • Posts, photos and Q&A that move position
  • Spam-fighting on competitors gaming the map

03 — Authority

AEO & SEO

Classic search still matters. But increasingly, the ranking that counts happens inside an answer.

  • Entity and schema architecture the models can read
  • Content shaped for retrieval, not just for keywords
  • Crawler access, llms.txt, and clean render paths
  • Citation tracking across ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity
  • Digital PR that builds the sources models trust
Answer engine optimization

The answer layer

This is the new front page.

When someone asks a model for a local recommendation, it doesn't show ten links. It names two or three businesses. Here's what that looks like — and what puts a business in it.

Answer engine

● Cited source

Named entity

The business is defined once and described identically everywhere the model can reach.

Retrievable facts

Service area, specialties, hours and pricing live in plain text — not locked inside images.

Structured data

Schema tells the model exactly what it is reading, so it can quote you with confidence.

Illustrative example. Business names shown are fictional.

How it goes

Four steps, no retainer trap.

01

Audit

We run your business through Google, the map pack, and four different models, then show you exactly where you appear and where you don't.

02

Build

Fix the foundation first. A fast, clean, well-structured site, because nothing else compounds until this part is right.

03

Structure

Schema, entities, service pages, profile optimization and the source signals that make a model comfortable naming you.

04

Compound

Monthly reporting on rank, map position and model citations. You see movement, or you hear why not.

Questions

Straight answers.

This section is marked up with FAQ schema — the same technique we put on client sites so answer engines can lift it cleanly.

Answer engine optimization is the work of making your business easily retrievable, understandable and quotable by large language models and AI search. Where traditional SEO competes for a position on a results page, AEO competes to be the business a model names when it composes an answer. In practice that means entity clarity, structured data, factual content in crawlable text, and presence on the third-party sources models lean on.

It still matters, and the two reinforce each other. Models are trained and grounded on the open web, so the pages that rank well are frequently the pages that get retrieved and cited. We treat AEO as an additional layer on a solid SEO foundation rather than a replacement for it.

Google Business Profile work often moves within a few weeks because the signals are direct. Website and content changes typically take two to four months to show in organic rankings. Model citations are the least predictable of the three, since each model refreshes its sources on its own schedule. We report on all three monthly so you can see what is actually moving.

Yes. The domain, the hosting account and the site files are yours. There is no proprietary platform to get locked into and no license that stops working if you stop paying us.

We are based in Washington, Indiana and work throughout southern Indiana and the surrounding Midwest. Because most of the work happens remotely, we also take on local businesses outside the region when the fit is right.
